Where have I been?

Sorry guys! Realise I haven't posted in days! As soon as my sociology exam ended I went into immediate rest and procrastination (which is stupid as I still have one exam left).

Also there's a new Minecraft app out called "Survivalcraft" which Im loving and been getting obsessed with. I like it better than the app "Minecraft Pocket Edition" as in Minecraft PE there is no water or lava tool but in Survivalcraft there is. Also in Survivalcraft, you can download block textures and other worlds from online which is so cool! There's a ton of other blocks and you can get on Minecraft PE such as snow, ice, switches, electricity and even eggs to spawn a ton of cool animals like sharks.

Anyway, enough of me geeking out. I will make sure I don't forget to post again and hopefully I'll be able to get myself off my phone and onto doing some revision!

Oh yeah and it's the 9th June today, aka Johnny Depp's birthday! Happy birthday, Johnny! I really enjoy he's movies and also just love him as a person. Cool dude. On top of that he is freaking hot for 50 years old.

No more sociology

So I didn't blog yesterday because I was busy revising the shit out of Sociology for the exam I had today.

Overall it went pretty well, there was only one question which threw me off guard that I found really hard. But literally everyone that came out of the hall after the exam ended said they also found it really difficult and stupid, so most people ended up skipping it or writing very little. I wrote like 1 sentence and then pretty much that was all I wrote. It was 18 marks for the question but hopefully that won't drastically lower my grade. I know it will lower it but I don't want to get like a grade U or something because I did so shit.

But I did pretty well on the others, I'd say, as they were easy. The 2 others were a 9 marker and 33 marker. For the 33 marker you get a choice of 2 questions and pick which you want to answer, and one of them was a really EASY one so I did that. Pretty sure I got a high mark for that question. The 9 marker was pretty simple except my mind kind of went blank and I think one of the points I made in my answer could be wrong. After the exam my friend told me what he put and I was just like "Duh! Why didn't I think of that!? So obvious!" Hate those kind of moments.

But I had a nice encouraging thought last night as I was looking at the UCAS tarriff points online (not sure how this works in other countries) but basically you need either certain grades or a certain amount of tariff points for a course you want to study at University. The University I got accepted into gave me a conditional offer, meaning I am able to attend that University and study the course I want as long as I meet the requirements with my exams (200-240 UCAS tariff points). So yeah, when I looked online I apparently didn't actually need to do that well in this exam I had today as my previous grades from what I did at AS Level were already quite high, so that boosted my tariff points already before I even began A2 this year. For Americans, AS & A2 are the two stages in which you study at college - college meaning the place we go to before university (because I know in America you usually call University "college" but here it the UK they are separate stages in education).

Anyway! Enough boring information. Will end this post here! I'm going to have a nice relaxing night after working hard for that exam (lol not, how many times has it been that I've said in a blogpost I keep procrastinating because revision was too boring?). Only one exam left which is on the 20th June! Then it is finally S U M M E R.

I can see the U already

Yes, I know, I missed a day of blogging. Oh well, been busy trying to revise! BUT SHIT I CAAAAAN'T, THERE'S TOO MUCH TO LEARN AND I CAN'T REMEMBER ANYTHING!

I hate life right now. Please let me die.

My exam is in 2 days as well... I just want to cry right now. I can see that big U on my paper already. I don't know how grades are in America but basically a U is the worst as it means "ungradeable" (meaning it was SO bad they can't even give you a grade).

I'm scared. I'm nervous, I'm sad. I'm stressed. Ugh.

My blogposts have been so depressing lately haha sorry about that, can't help it when my exams are so darn annoying. That's why I see no point in my revision and may as well go ahead and play my Minecraft. I actually did yesterday and I built some cool things: I built Fluttershy from My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic, Nyan Cat and a cool looking house. I'll post an image of these at the end of this blogpost.

Anyway, imma get back to revising. Getting no sleep tonight!

Revision

So today I did some more revision along with more Minecraft playing. Getting way too fucking obsessed with that game. Don't care though.

Stressing over this exam. I just think it's way too hard :(

Until the exams over I don't really have all that much to say as all my life consists of now is revising and trying not to procrastinate (which isn't going very well).

I can't believe it's already going to be June tomorrow! Got like 5 days until my Sociology exam! (AKA the worst ever exam in the history of exams)

Totally going to fail.

I can't even type... Sad times.

Oh well, my fault for procrastinating. But, then again, it's the exams fault for being so fucking hard.

Hogwarts, neighbours & murder

Sorry I didn't post yesterday, I actually managed to get some revision done so completely forgot.

Anyway, I can't say the same for today. I literally spent all day stuck on Minecraft, I legit couldn't take my eyes off the fucking screen. My brain clearly craved procrastination. But anyway, I've been watching this YouTube tutorial on how to build Hogwarts. Mine is looking really good so far. Not completely finished it yet as each part of the tutorial takes like 30 minutes to copy whatever part of the castle was being described how to build. I'll post some screenshots with this post showing my Hogwarts as of right now.

In other news, my neighbors are the fucking devil family. They have not long moved in but they're so bloody loud!!! They shout and swear at the children, sometimes they make so much banging its almost as if all the kids are being beaten or something. There's a lot of them too so it is literally crazy. They wake me up all the time and can't let me concentrate, I actually just want to strangle the parents. Today I heard the dad shouting at the mum asking her why she let the kids play with the microwave... Like what the actual fuck!?

Anyway just writing about them is pissing me off, so, moving on! I had a dream Tuesday night which was pretty funny but scary. In it my brother was a murderer planning to kill me, my mum and brother. I can only wonder what that's supposed to mean... Lol but it was pretty funny when I woke up telling my brothers and mum about it.

So today I tried to push aside those negative feelings I had yesterday about there being no point in revising for my Sociology exam. I really, really want to do well to be honest!

It's just...hard to focus and concentrate on revising something not only difficult, but so boring. Procrastination is just bound to happen, c'mon.

But in confession, I talk about this as if I revised so hard today, when I actually didn't. I was just trying to improve my knowledge by reading my notes over a bit more, etc. Eventually procrastination took over of course.

Absolutely dreading June 5th, the date of the exam, but then again I can't wait as then I'll only have one other exam left on June 20th and then it will be Summer! Yay :) I'm talking late nights, movies, friends, pyjama days, sleeping, summer food, family, procrastination and hopefully some good weather. But lets be real, I live in England so that last part is not very likely, but hey it's still possible!

Going to go know though because I'm fucking knackered and need some shut eye. Goodnight errbady! (Or have a good day if you're from another part of the world)

Any point?

At this point, I've kind of resorted to the conclusion that there's no point in me revising for my Sociology exam as I already know I'm going to fail, even with revision. That's how difficult it is and how bad I am with this certain topic (religion) for the exam.

I just- I don't know what to do anymore...

At least Britain's Got Talent is on all week as its the semi-finals! Fun shit. But a few if the people they out through though...a 2 year old could do. One guy was dressed as a priest/vicar (I don't know) and dancing with a broomstick dressed as a nun. Like what the fuck..?! That's not a talent! And it definitely embarrassed me to be even British.

Anyway, not going to waste more time ranting about that.

Joey Graceffa problems

So today I planned on doing some revision but ended up procrastinating... I'm so fucking stupid. Why do I keep doing this!? :(

Anyway, yeah, I'm kind of obsessed and in love with Joey Graceffa. Been watching his videos all day. But it's kind of annoying when every time you click on one of his vids the comments are like "Are you gay?" or "You're so gay". Like seriously, you're judging him by his voice? Because he has a girlfriend, you morons. So yeah he's not gay, but so what if it was, it doesn't need to be discussed. I mean, you don't go up to everyday people and ask causally them "Are you heterosexual?" (i.e. not gay).

Anyway, that was my waste of a Sunday! It's been quite irritating though S I can't stop biting the inside of my cheek and so it hurts really bad... I actually can't stop doing it though, ugh!

Goodbye college

Sorry, totally forgot to blog yesterday. But yeah basically I had my last ever day of college!!! WOO.

Anyway my last day of college was actually quite ok, most of our time was spent in assembly and everyone was screaming/cheering with joy, haha.

Then we set off a bunch of balloons into the air which had our hopes/wishes tied onto. Got some good pictures of that so I'll post those with this blogpost. It was also fancy dress so a lot of people dressed up in crazy funny costumes. Like seriously, I saw: lifeguards, cops&robbers, a whoops cushion, Mario&Luigi, Superman, Batman, a car, a dinosaur, geeks, Greek goddesses, jockeys, a guy dressed as a girl, an indian tribe, a Hogwarts student, some smurfs, the whole thing!

At the end of the day I had a nice, relaxing evening after a long 2 years of college. Can't believe how close my next exam is and how close University is getting.

As for today, I unfortunately had to get back to revising so that sucked. But after a couple of hours I got bored and procrastinated. Ugh I'm a total fool, I'll be surprised if I actually pass this exam (lol so not happening). But luckily because on all the other exams in this subject (Sociology) that I've done previously I've done really well in, I think I only need like a high D / low C grade to get a B overall. Hope I'm right, but I'm pretty sure that's what my teacher said.

So yeah anyway, I watched like a bunch of Joey Graceffa YouTube videos today as well, I'm literally coming to love him, I mean c'mon he's the cutest thing on the planet! I haven't watched much of videos before which I why I just decided to today. Yeah I know, great timing, Abbie. Because there's totally nothing else right now that you should be doing more than procrastinating...

One day more

ONE DAY MORE TIL COLLEGE IS OVER FOREVER. It's also fancy dress but fuck that.

I just can't wait to leave, but then again Im not likely going to see my best friend since high school, Nareesa, very much as she's decided to stay another year at college to study another subject whereas I'm going off to University and will be loving on it's campus... Fucking scary ass shit. Going to miss her loads though, we have had the best and craziest memories which I'll treasure forever <3

Anyway, I was kind of pissed off at college today as I have a lot of frees on Thursdays so I was at college all day then the last thing I had to attend to was form/homeroom for 1 hour as usual, but my teacher and none of the other students were there. So I went home. Was pissed because I could have left earlier but no I waited l that time JUST for form. 

I wasn't in form last Thursday so I guess if my teacher decided to cancel it or anything than I wouldn't have known. But I emailed her anyway to explain my situation and she said she would mark me in anyway, which is good. 

I also got into a few little arguments with my mum today which was sad and annoying but it's all good now. But it was just stressful at the time... I hate Thursdays.

Also today, I got a form in the mail from Student Finance which is to confirm my identity and confirm that I am the person I claim I am in my birth certificate which so sent them not too long ago. It fucking sucks because you have to get someone to fill half out it our for you who's: not a relative, has known you for 2 years, isn't married to you, isn't in a personal relationship with you, lives in the UK, has a passport, has a professional qualification and doesn't live in the same house as you. You wouldn't think it's that difficult but it kinda is and I don't really know anyone personally (e.g. a friend) that fits the whole criteria. So I think I'm going to ask my form tutor tomorrow and see if she can do it.

Anyway, I did a bit of revision this evening but didn't her as much done as I did yesterday because like your average 18 year old would I kept watching My Little Pony (that's right, bitches, I'm a Pegasister)! But its not my fault the show's so damn addicting. But yeah, didn't get that much revision done when I really should have, seeing as Sociology is the hardest fucking exam of all exams ughhhhh.

Also pretty disappointed today because Team Starkid (YouTube them if you don't know who they are but I talk about them so much that you really should be now) are doing a Google Hangout tonight when it's 6:30pm in Chicago, Illinois USA and like almost midnight here in England, UK. Hate being English. But at least it should be up on YouTube by tomorrow so I can catch up, it just means I can't be like the whole of America which have the bloody opportunity to talk to Starkid and ask them questions about their new show or other random shit. Makes me wanna cry...

Start of Sociology

So now that my first exam is over, I can now start revising for my second exam, Sociology.

I took the day off today as like I said yesterday my first 2 lessons have been cancelled as the lessons I was supposed to have were the lesson of the exam I did yesterday. And because the exam is done, we don't have to go to that lesson anymore. So because the lessons were cancelled, it only left me with 1 lesson for today so I decided there wasn't much point in going to college just to stay for 1 hour then go all the way home again.

So yeah, during my day off I focused on Sociology and have been revising. It's like the worst exam in the world Andy changes of going to University depends of how well I do in my exams. I don't want to ruin my opportunity because I really want to go to Uni!

I can already tell that I'm stressing, I have like 2 spots on my chin and they're all red. Ugh. Fucking hate being a girl. I mean. I know boys get them too (duh), but I just feel like if I was a boy then spots wouldn't bother me so much...I don't know, man.

Anyway, as usual I'm tired. Spent 2 years of my life waking up before the sims even up to get my ass on time to college each day. Can't wait to finally get some rest and for Summer to begin! But first... COME AT ME, EXAMS!

Not too bad

So I had my exam this morning... Really not too sure how I did. Half of it was fine and I knew the answers for, but other parts I was pretty much just making shit up because the question was a bit too hard for me.

So yeah, I either did quite good or fucking terribly! The rest of the day was awful because it just consisted of lessons and when I got home I was unbelievably tired, as you can imagine. My first 2 lessons for tomorrow are Health and Social but I don't have to go because we've done the exam so that lessons over forever, so at least I get a sleep in.

I'm starting to get really nervous though for University because I've applied for Student Finance and given my details but they were supposed to send my mum a form so she can give her details, but they haven't sent it her and the deadline is in 10 days! But trying to put that fear/stress aside because my next exam (Sociology) isn't that far away and that's the exam that I know the least about. It's all about religion and is fucking hard, let me tell you!

But anyway, planned on doing some revision today but so was that tired from today that I ended up lying down and resting all evening lol. Procrastination strikes again.

Think I'm going to go now, though. I need sleep!!!

PRE-EXAM STRESS!

EXAM TOMORROW.

Absolutely shitting myself, so I've been revising literally all weekend and all of today after I finished college. I've been doing the whole thing: making notes, reading textbooks, answering practice questions...the whole shabang.

But it's left me super tired and I usually get a sleep in on Tuesdays, but because my exam is the first thing in the morning I have to wake up at an earlier time :(

Revision all day errday

Sorry for missing another post yesterday, was just in a big rush to get home and lie down after a tiring college day.

So today I pretty much revised all day, just like yesterday. Exam in 2 days!!! :/

It's been super boring... What more can I say? I've also been trying to get my ass of this game app based on the movie athe Hobbit and the app is called "The Hobbit: Kingdoms of Middle Earth". It's been getting really addicting!

American food PART 2

My package of food from America came today! I took the day off college because my family wasn't going to be in during the day to get it. At first, I thought it wasn't going to come in at all because it didn't arrive all morning! But it's ok, it came at like 5:50pm so my family were here for it's arrival. So, really, I didn't need to take the day off college. This was like the first time a package of mine has arrived so late.

Anyway, I did another tasting video of the products for my YouTube. You can check that out on my channel: youtube.com/abbieissoweirdlike. Overall, my favourite item of the things I bought that I hadn't bought past time was the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. I just love peanut butter so... That's probably why. I liked the Cookies N' Cream but they can get slightly sickly after a while. I liked the Dots, too, but only some flavours more than others. The A&W Root Beer was sooooo strange. Not what I thought it would taste like at all. But I liked it!

Friday tomorrow, at last! Not long until my first exam, which is an exam for Health and Social Care. I'm so nervous!!!

Let the revision begin

So my package of food from America didn't arrive today. Oh well, I have a strong feeling it will come tomorrow seeing as today wasn't the day.

In other news, I actually managed to do some revision today. Yay me! It's hard to believe how addicting things like the Internet, television or a phone can be, to the extent in which I can spend even a short amount of time reading over notes for exams that are getting closer and closer each day.

Other than that, I don't think you'd want to hear about the other boring goings on of today.

Shit got real

Wow, guys. Shit got real today. So my application for student accommodation came so I can apply for a place to stay when I go off to University in September. It's all getting so real! And scary...

I had a pretty shit day today anyway, my wrist was hurting SO bad! Hope it goes away by tomorrow. I legit had to tell my teacher that I couldn't write because it was too painful.

*Sigh* There's also 1 week until my first exam! Oh dear. I'm so nervous... Too much to learn! I need to do some hardcore revision.

Anyway on a lighter note, I think the food I ordered from America will be arriving tomorrow! Yay! I'll do another video for my YouTube where I taste the food on camera like I did last time. Will inform you when it's up. My "What's On My iPhone 5" video has gotten like over 100 views already! Crazy.

Fatty

I'm such a fatty, I went and ordered more food online from America today. I ordered: Lucky Charms (got these last time but I got an actual box this time), Redvines (I got a tray last time but a tub of 240 vines this time omfg), a pack of 3 Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Dots, Cookies N' Cream Cookie Dough Bites and a can of A&W Root Beer.

I am so fucking excited. Oh America, why must your food be so deliciously tempting?

Anyway, sorry for not blogging yesterday ugh I forgot again. Didn't really do anything anyway except play on my iPhone 5 and procrastinate (much like today!).

But today I also went to the doctors just as I said I would be a couple of posts back. I went to get a letter outlining my illness for some student finance thing. The doctor said he'll have it ready sometime this week. Really hope I'm not too late for the whole student finance shit. They said they'd send out something to my house for my mum to fill in to provide her income/finance details but it still hasn't arrived. So I got the phone number for student finance online and she's going to ring them tomorrow.

Enough blogging for today! I'm super tired. I'll try remember to post tomorrow lol.

If I was a rich girl nananana

So today I did some shopping! I got 3 DVDs, a case for my iPhone 5, some beauty products and some new pyjamas.

So the DVDs I bought were "Life of Pi" "Silver Linings Playbook" and "Glee Season 3". I had already seen Silver Linings Playbook, I think I did a review of it here on my blog a couple of months ago. But I wanted to see it again! I watched Life of Pi earlier and thought it was AMAZING. The visual effects truly are spectacular. The story was also beautifully told! I could watch it a thousand times. I got the Glee Season 3 DVD because I missed like half of that season so wanted to watch them. Other than that, I've watched every episode from every season. "The Silver Linings Playbook" and "Life of Pi" DVDs were on a special offer of 2 DVDs for £20 and the Glee Season 3 DVD cost £18.99. I got all these DVDs from HMV.

As for the pyjamas... Oh my god. They are sooooo cute! So I got 2 top parts which are basically kind of like ponchos. They're super soft and comfy. They also have little hoods with animals on. You'd think they would be super hot to wear but they actually aren't. Because they're nice and light and loose, it lets some air in and it's like the perfect temperature. Both of these poncho things cost £8 each and are from Primark. I also got 2 pairs of pyjama pants. They didn't come with the poncho things but I just wanted to get some to go with them. The pants are great because they suit the ponchos. They're also very light, soft and comfortable. Both of the bottoms cost £6 each and are from Primark.

The iPhone 5 case that I got is baby pink around the edge and clear at the back (so you can see the actual back of the phone). I love it because of the clear back, it makes it just look like the lining of the phone is pink which makes it look really cute. Another thing I love about it is I've had something similar to this with my iPhone 4 only the coloured outline was more rubbery whereas this one is plastic. The rubber one was horrible as dust/dirt would collect on it whereas this won't happen with plastic. So that's helpful! The only bad thing about it is it's quite hard to get on/off the phone. The case cost £10 and was bought from a little stand in the White Rose Shopping Centre in Leeds.

Finally, I got 4 beauty products: hairspray, mascara, eyeliner and case for all my health & beauty products. These were more of a necessity than a want. My current eyeliner is running low and not working its best on my eyes anymore, so that's why I needed a new one. I tested it out and it came out and worked a lot better because it was new, sharpened and clean! The eyeliner cost around £2/£3 and is from Superdrug. The mascara was also bought because my current one is running out. I also got a new one because the eyelashes on my left eye are really fucked up and messy so when I apply eyeliner it's quite difficult and doesn't improve their appearance that much. But when I tested out this new mascara I for today, it improved the eyelashes instantly! Although, I don't really understand why the eyelashes on my right eye are perfectly fine and the ones of my left eye aren't... The mascara cost around £3 and is from Superdrug. As for the hairspray, I got it because I need to tame my hair sometimes, it comes really out of place and messy so I got this to help fix it a little. I haven't tested it yet! The hairspray cost somewhere around £5 and is from Superdrug. l Finally, the case for my health & beauty products was bought because I have come to realise that I own a lot more products that I ever thought. So I needed to buy this to help store them all in one place, because before I bought the case they were just everywhere around my room getting lost and stuff. The case has a funky pattern on it which I really like and is also nice and big inside so it can fit a lot in it! I got it from Primark and it only cost £2!

Anyway, that's what I got! I'll leave some photos of the items I bought at the bottom of this blogpost.

iPhone 5

Sorry I forgot to to blog yesterday. But anyway, I got my iPhone 5 today! I got it in white with 16 gigabytes of memory.

I REALLY love this phone. First, the retina screen display is improved, it seems a lot more clearer and defined. The same can also be said for the camera quality. It has definitely gotten better and seems much more high definition. The front facing camera is what I really wanted the improvement on though, and the iPhone 5 has done it. In the other iPhones, the front facing camera is very poor and the photos have a lot of noise on them. But this new front facing camera is so much better!

Another thing I enjoy playing around with is Siri. She can do so much on the iPhone 5 which is really useful.

I think I'm going to make a "What's On My iPhone" tag for my YouTube this week. As I have money in the bank now, and because I have more phone memory, I was able to get some new apps today. I'd love to give others some recommendations of what apps I find easy to use as well as being really good in other ways. So keep an eye out for that video, I'll mention it in a post this week when it's uploaded.

I'm going out tomorrow to get myself a case or something for this phone. I was really stupid a few months ago and got an iPhone 5 case for my iPhone 4 (I didn't realise it was for an iPhone 5, ok) but it's a bit too dirty to use. Looking at it now, I'd also prefer something else. I don't know what else I may buy tomorrow. If I get anything else, I'll do a little review thing of the items I end up getting in tomorrow's blogpost.

Anyway, I'm tired. I can't seem to let go of my phone haha! But I will soon because I need sleep after a long day at college today. Bye!

Birthday bro

Happy 100th blogpost to me! Wow, this is crazy. I can't believe I've written 100 times, it seems like its been much more, yet it also seems like the time has flown by!

Also, a happy 21st birthday to my brother, Matthew! I remember when we were little and he would always irritate me. I have 2 brothers and he was always my least favourite haha! Sounds mean but hey siblings fight. Me and him would ALWAYS argue, probably more than anyone else in our house. But as we've grown he's become a lot more nicer towards me and same for me with him.

There was one time in high school when this bully stole my money and my brother got it back and I was just like "Aaw, maybe he has a heart after all." But more than that, we have become clsoer and I think he's a great person underneath it all!

Anyway, as for today, I didn't do anything amazing. Just another boring day of college. Although, my friend informed me today that we have 2 weeks left! I didnt realise we only had that short amount of time left. I can't wait for it to be over but then again a small part of me also doesn't want to let go. University is going to be hard...and scary!

2 more days until I get my iPhone 5, though! I am fucking stoked. Not sure if I ever mentioned it here on my blog but I'm selling my current phone (iPhone 4) to my best friend Nareesa's mum. I mentioned Nareesa in yesterdays post. Nareesa said her mum wants to take a quick look at it first before she buys it (but Nareesa said her mum will most likely end up buying it from me) just so she can make sure the appearance is fine and not scracthed or anything. So I'm going to give it to her to have a look at it before she gives me money to buy it.

I was supposed to give my phone to Nareesa to give to her mum next Monday but I'll be going to the doctors on Monday so I'm going to meet with Nareesa after she finishes college to give the phone to her then. as we live near each other. I'm going to the doctors to discuss how I can get a letter about my Diabetes to give to a student finance thing for people with an illness. It says on the form I need it so thats what I'm hoping to get on Monday.

Awkward

Today wasn't very exciting. Just another typical day.

Although, after college, me and my friend Nareesa went out for a milkshake because the weather has been gorgeous here in England lately! (But sadly it's supposed to get back to cold/rainy tomorrow) She was buying so I couldn't refuse and I didn't want to say no because we don't always get that much time to hang out. We'll also be going different ways in September after college is over and we start University, so I want to have fun while I can!

We got those milkshakes which are made out of a certain candy or chocolate of your choice. I chose Milkybar and it was really delicious! Nareesa got a white Kinder Bueno but she said it wasn't very nice.

While we were out, she informed me she has a NEW boyfriend. Haha, she is boy crazy! I didn't even know that she had broken up with her last one. But anyway he texted her if she wanted to meet up so me and her went to go meet him and his cousin. He's 20, so 2 years old than me and Nareesa. He seemed pretty cool and I'm glad I finally met a boyfriend of hers, usually I only ever communicate with them if they message my phone if they need to contact Nareesa. But then again, it was also pretty awkward... Her boyfriend's cousin was also really awkward but Nareesa warned me about that!

But overall it was a good time, and a good way to get out of the house! This week seems to be going slow already. My first day back at college this week after the long weekend (because we had water day off due to it being bank holiday Monday) kind of dragged. I am SO excited to get my iPhone 5 on Friday :D

I have a feeling I'm going to irritate you with mentioning being excited for Friday in all my blogposts this week.

My Little Pony

Sorry I forgot to blog yesterday. Totally forgot. I didn't do much this weekend, anyway. Just a whole lot of My Little Pony watching.

Yes guys, that show is so in right now. I mean, it's fucking brilliant. Have you seen it!?

I'd like to think I'm quite a mix of all the ponies: smart & love to read just like Twilight Sparkle, bubbly and often loud like Pinky Pie, but also shy and afraid at times like Fluttershy, average and tomboyish like Applejack, but also interested in appearance like Rarity and trying to be the best at what I do like Rainbow Dash.

Pinky Pie makes me laugh the most, though. So I love her! But Fluttershy is adorable though. Twilight Sparkle annoys me sometimes because she can be really stubborn, which I find irritating.

Wow, I probably look so dumb right now. Oh well, proud of it.

Not much to say as I didn't do too much today, either. It's bank holiday Monday so college is off. We go back tomorrow as normal. Only 4 days until I get my iPhone 5! YAAAAAY :)

Haircut

Phew! Thought I forgot to blog yesterday. But I didn't so, moving on!

Today, I got my hurrr did. I got my roots done because they had come in as my natural colour (strawberry blonde). So now all of my hair is back to brown and looks better. I also got the parting changed to the middle so it's no longer at the side. It feels a lot more comfortable now! It also smells of dye, haha. I'll post a photo with this blogpost of my hair.

Anyway, just been watching Britain's Got Talent and it's done now. Going to watch some My Little Pony soon because big girls do that.

Glad it's a bank holiday Monday on Monday (not sure if others around the world have this or if it's just a UK thing). But anyway, it means no college!

1 week to go

So today my mum went to give in my check to be put in my bank. They said it should be cleared by next Friday! So only 1 week left before I can get my iPhone 5!

Today was pretty boring at college. One of my lessons was cancelled and the rest were just a drag. I also didn't eat all day so I had zero energy by the time I got home. Wasn't good.

Going to the hairdressers tomorrow morning, so excited to get my hair sorted out. Haven't had it done in a while. I'll post a photo of it in tomorrow's blogpost.

Anyway, I'm kind of bummed. I lost my earphones in college today. They cost SO much! The most annoying thing is I told my mum to buy me a pair and she bought the most expensive ones she could find, ugh. I just wanted any regular pair. But yeah, I think they fell out of my college bag because there was a time during the day when it wasn't closed properly. I hate it because I can't live without earphones... I just need them!

I'm tired now, so going to me this post here. I've been watching funny videos of babies for like 1 hour. Haha, they're hilarious! Until tomorrow!

Best day ever

So today was freaking amazing!

First, college ended early because one of my reasons was cancelled. Well... I wasn't supposed to go home as I had form (homeroom for Americans) , but I had just spent 2 hours in the college IT suite waiting for the class that was cancelled, I didn't want to spend another 2 hours just for form.

So I got home and my package had arrived from when I ordered some American food. I can't remember if I blogged about it in the blogpost done on the day I ordered them, last Friday. But yeah, they arrived. I got some Lucky Charms, Nerds, Red Vines and a milk chocolate Hershey's bar.

The Lucky Charms were delicious, my mum told me she'd had them before and also loved them. Lucky Charms are cereal if you're unaware. The plain bits are similar to Cheerios which we have here in the UK, don't know about in America. But they're mixed with marshmallows. If I was American I know this would be my breakfast every morning!

The Nerds were also great. They're made by the Wonka company (Wonka as in Willy Wonka). They're basically 2 sets of candy in one box, both different flavors. They were a yummy fruity flavor and I really liked them.

The Red Vines...were interesting. I only got them because I'm a huge fan of Team Starkid on YouTube and if you've seen their play "A Very Potter Sequel" you'll know they used Red Vines in it. This really helped promote the candy as obviously Starkid has millions of fans. But yeah, I had hear before from someone non-American that they tasted like toothpaste. Needles to say, this was very true. They also smelled of toothpaste the minute I opened the packaging. But as I ate more of them this faded a bit and I actually quite like them. I've saved some for tomorrow. They're great as one tray has a lot in them so they last a while.

Finally, the Hershey's bar was also really good. Wow, Americans just have great food. I had heard from some English people who had tried them before and they said that they didn't like it. But I did! I mean it was no Cadbury chocolate, as we have here in the UK, but still it was tasty. It smelled and tasted like the kind of chocolate that's in advent calendars you get at Christmas.

Anyway, the day got even better a couple of hours later when my check arrived in the post for £1250 for the car crash I was in the other month. Yay! Getting my iPhone 5 next week then, woo! I'm super excited.

After this, I saw on YouTube that Starkid had uploaded a new video last night for the cast announcements for their new play, Twisted. Can't wait for it to be done and up on YouTube. But obviously that's not going to be for ages haha! I can't believe they added some new members to their team as well, exciting but also quite sad. Although, I was SUPER excited to hear Robert Manion was joining them. He used to be their fan and now he's up with them! So cool.

Anyway, I pretty much just chilled outfit the rest of the day. Get a sleep in tomorrow because my first lesson at college isn't until 11:15 on Fridays. The on Saturday I have a hairdressers appointment because I asked my mum to make an appointment for me today. So that's at 10:45am Saturday morning. I'm getting my roots dyed because they've gone back gingery whereas the rest of my hair is still dyed brown and it looks stupid with the roots being a different colour. I'm also getting it cut a little bit. I want the length to stay the same and everything, I just want a middle parting instead of side. Pushing my fringe to the side is always so annoying. So I'm excited to get it done at last!

I also started reading "Ender's Game" by Orison Scott Card today. It was pretty confusing in the first chapter but I'm getting it a bit more now. I'm reading it by publication date, not by the chronological order. I know people all have their own way of reading the books. There's just so freaking many!

Anyway, going to have lie down and sleep soon. Bye!

Insurgent

So I finished "Insurgent" by Veronica Roth and I just have 2 words: fucking amazing.

I thought it had the PERFECT ending to get the reader excited for the third and final book "Allegiant" being released this October. I kind of the guessed what this secret information was that the character Jeanine was keeping from all the factions. It all started becoming more clear when they were talking about "being placed here", but what a great reveal though.

The whole action sequence as well with Tris and the others breaking into Erudite, so action-packed and exciting. I was literally on the edge of my seat getting all tense. I can only begin to imagine how epic these are going to translate into movies. I'm already excited! I feel am Instagram fan page coming on. My Hunger Games one is doing so well, who's to say a Divergent one can't/won't.

I really enjoyed the shock factor of the book as well with twists being revealed such as how Caleb, Tris' brother, was working for Jeanine. Totally surprised me, I hated him after that. I still do. But let's see what happens in the third book. I can't wait until it comes out :)

So yeah, pretty obvious statement (understatement actually...) I LOVE this book so much. One of my new favorites! Next I'm going to start reading Ender's Game so keep an eye out for my review on that once I've finished it. May start it tomorrow.

Girl problems

Came home early form college today because let's say I wasn't feeling good... girl problems that come each month, you know?

Anyway, that was good because it gave me time to sleep and procrastinate when I should be studying. Oh god, I can already see how amazingly well I'm going to do and cope when I go to University.

Student Finance

So today I finally got my student finance application completed and submitted for University. Like I mentioned a few posts back, I'm getting super excited to go in September. Well...that's if I succeed in my exams.

I realise now that I really do need to start revising when I get home from college every evening instead of procrastinating and shit. Really need help, I ought to be in rehab for my obsessive procrastination. It's disgusting.

I mean, I can't even bring myself to revise for a freaking short test we have on Wednesday in one class. That's just lazy.

Families fight

So today didn't start of too good. I mentioned in a past blogpost that my sister and brother in law argue quite a bit, well they've been doing that all weekend. This drives my mum really crazy. And today my nephew was being naughty so my mum came in to help or something (don't know full story it was early in the morning when I was still in bed), and my brother in law started complaining at my mum. Not sure if my sister did, too.

But this just did it for my mum so she left the house to go cool down until my sister and her family left. So they're all in an argument and it's really annoying! Ugh... It's so awkward too. I also didn't get a goodbye from them as they just got ready and left without a word or without me knowing. But until my mum came back my other sister came round to make sure everything was alright.

Anyway, kind of stressing as I have a test at college tomorrow and I didn't revise all weekend so I can tell I'm going to fail. Seriously though, I need to lock my phone away or something. The Internet is way too addicting. Then I have another test on Wednesday which I need to prepare for! ...Not cool.

Hmm, what else did I do today? Not too much I guess. I missed Glee which was really annoying so going to have to watch it on demand. But sometimes they don't put it on demand so I'm just worried I've missed it completely.

Going to rest now, have to wake up at 6:30am! Monday mornings are a bitch.

Updates

Today was kind of horrible because I don't feel to well. But the good thing is that it's Saturday and I've done my coursework so I was able to rest all day :)

But I have 2 tests at college next week, ugh, and I haven't even been revising because I just haven't felt like it. Procrastination wins again!

Hmm... didn't do too much again today. My sister, brother in law, niece and nephew are still here as I said as they're sleeping over until tomorrow. So the house has been pretty loud.

I also changed my Twitter username today. Same account just now the name is @Jenniderper (because Jennfier Lawrence AKA The Queen of Derp is my everything). So yeah, you may see me posting a lot of things to do with her if you follow me on Twitter!

Family fun

I finished my coursework today!!! Yay! That was the main thing I just wanted to scream on here today. I'm so happy that it's all done. No. More. Coursework. Now I can finally rest a bit!

So today after college my sister, her husband, my niece and nephew all came over because they're sleeping until Sunday (as I mentioned yesterday). But if my nephew manages to go to his dads tomorrow then he won't be sleeping a second night. But yeah we've been having a lot of fun!

Me and my sister were playing Draw Something for a while, her on her iPad 4 and me on my iPhone 4. It's been a lot of fun. It's also been fun playing around with my niece and nephew, we were taking photos earlier which I'll share with this blogpost.

I'm super worn out though... need to stop writing my posts so late. I'll work on that! Going to head off now because I need sleep. Bye!

Finally

So tired! So today I improved all my coursework and gave it to my teacher for the final deadline. She may have a few minor corrections for me to add in but other than that... I think I'm done!

FINALLY.

Now all I need to do is focus on exams. No more coursework :)

So after this I came home a bit early because I wasn't feeling good and did some boring Sociology homework. I have to do more revising over the weekend as well as I have to quick tests next week. Can't believe it, ugh. We just had one this week as well. I got a grade C, lol fail.

Then I've been chilling out for the rest of the day. My sister, brother in law, niece and nephew are all coming over tomorrow to sleep until Sunday. Well my nephew may just be staying for 1 night then going to his dads for the rest of the weekend. But anyway, as I said, I'm freakin' tired so goodnight all!

Pitch Perfect review

Once again, today started again with college. The weather was supposed to be shit today so I was really surprised when it was quite sunny and warm.

Anyway, as I mentioned yesterday, I was going to buy the DVD for Pitch Perfect today. So college was pretty grueling to get through. We did a lot of writing and note-taking in class today so it made my muscles super sore by the end. As you can imagine getting home was super satisfying after all the work.

As for the Pitch Perfect DVD, I really enjoyed it and Rebel Wilson was especially hilarious in it. I'm so glad that I finally got to see it! I'm also kind of obsessed with Anna Kendrick right now and her acting was outstanding in it.

The storyline was great, original too. The script was genius and the improvisation done by Rebel Wilson was perfect. The thing that I REALLY loved about it though was that it gave me some good insight into what University is going to be like. I mean, in the movie it's obviously exaggerated slightly to fit the nature of the film but...still. I've been thinking about what Uni will be like for me when I start later this year and feeling very nervous about the whole transition. But Pitch Perfect has to some extent changed those nerves to excitement.

The only issue I had with the movie was te ending. I thought it should have had little more story to it and a conclusion. But they're making a sequel, Pitch Perfect 2, so I feel a bit more better about that as the story will continue there.

All in all, great movie!
