Well, it's done. I did my Sociology exam! I can't even express how relieved I feel and how how happy I am it's over. I suppose I could say I stressed out for nothing seeing as it was pretty darn easy, however I'm not going to. Because it was a stressful experience as obviously I had no clue as to what questions were going to be asked in the exam. If you do Sociology you'll probably understand the following questions we were asked. Ok now to remember them...
1) Using Item A and elsewhere, explain the functionalist explanations of crime (21 marks)
2) Using Item B and elsewhere, assess the gender differences in patterns of crime (21 marks)
3) Using Item C and elsewhere, assess the strengths and limitations of qualitative methods of investigating suicide (15 marks)
4 "Sociology should be treated as a science" Assess the arguments given to support or argue against this (33 marks)
Maybe that's not exactly what the questions were but still very similar to how I wrote them above. Anyway, as I said before, I'm so happy it's finally over as I can now focus on finishing coursework for another subject and then start learning all I need to know for the next exams in June. As for today, I'm going to catch up on some well deserved sleep, eat a ton load of food and do whatever the fuck I feel like doing. All my love,
