Ok I'm kind of hyperventilating right now. If this post is left unfinished, please find medical assistance. I'm so happy because the one and only Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter movies) just tweeted me! And it means the absolute world to me that he actually tweeted me because it means he acknowledged my existence!
If you know me, you know I am a giant potterhead. I love the books and the movies, I mean they're practically my childhood. My family and a lot of my friends have never really got into them like me and probably think I'm a total geek. But right now I don't give a shit because this has to be the best Tuesday ever. And believe me, Tuesdays are SO boring! So the fact that I can now say one of the cast tweeted me is magic to my ears!
It also means a great deal to me that Matt specifically tweeted me as we come from and live in the exact same area. He did a signing at the cinema once when Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince was released. I didn't even know he was going to be there, we (me, my brother and sister) just came out from watching the movie and there he was with a big que signing autographs!!! And stupid me didn't get one because the que was so long and I was really REALLY nervous. Therefore it means a lot that I got a tweet today!
Basically, this morning I was sat on the bus on the way to college when I saw another bus on the opposite side of the road from ours. This other bus had "Matthew Lewis" written on it above the door where you get on. It wasn't like someone had written it or anything, like it was legit part of the bus! I was literally like the OMG cat and then got all excited in my seat because I thought "Wow wouldn't it be cool if Matt was on that bus?!!? Omg, maybe he is!!!" And then it was decided; as soon as I got home from college, I was going to tweet Matt about it (I couldn't tweet there and then as I had no Internet as I use wifi from home). So literally like 30-40 minutes ago I remembered and tweeted him explaining it and making a joke like "Any chance you were on!?" to which he replied "Nope, fraid not. They just named it after me. Never seen it. Where was it?" Seriously, it was just wishful thinking but I didn't actually expect to get a reply.
I am one happy girl right now.
