4 chairs, 4 characters

Ugh need to rewrite this whole post because it fucking disappeared! Was just about to go to bed as well. Anyway, OHMAHGAHHHHD!

4 new Catching Fire photos were released today! Each photo showed a different chair sat in by one of the characters. The first was sat in by Effie, our beloved Effie. We all love her! You know who that is, right? The crazy lady from the Capitol that dresses similarly to Lady Gaga. She wears a ton of make up and loves pink. Anyway, she looked stunning in the photo! I don't think anyone other than Elizabeth Banks could have pulled the character off so well. The fact that Elizabeth is a super fan of the books and begged for the part really adds to the characters believability.

The second chair was sat in by Cinna, the stylist of the main character, Katniss. He looked very smart regarding his appearance but also very serious in his facial expression. SPOILER ALERT: it's sad to think that he dies in this movie... Lenny Kravitz is beautiful in the role.

The third chair was sat in by Haymitch, the drunk alcoholic mentor for district 12 tributes, Katniss and Peeta. My only problem with how this character is portrayed on screen is that he doesn't seem drunk enough to me. I feel like he's WAY too sober. Therefore when I watch him, all I see is Woody Harrelson, the actor. Not Haymitch, the drunk, witty, sarcastic, serious, troubled man/mentor.

Finally, the last chair is sat in by Ceaser Flickerman. Ceaser is a popular talkshow host in the Capitol and is played by Stanley Tucci. This photo I was most disappointed with. The characters hair colour has been changed to a purple colour. His suit has also changed colour and style. I hate this because Katniss always mentions and repeats how the character is always wearing his midnight blue suit and has his midnight blue hair. I feel like this is the characters trademark. In Panem, the world that The Hunger Games is set in, Ceaser is very famous for his look.

But overall, the photos definitely increased my excitement for the movie! The Hunger Games has been interfering in my normal everyday life a lot recently. For example yesterday some birds were flying over me in the sky and I just stood and stared at them thinking "Mockingjays ermagerd". Then earlier today in sociology class, we were discussing religious revolutions such as The Arab Spring, and all I could think about was the revolution and rebellion that Katniss sparks in The Hunger Games. Then I was thinking "Jee, what if I did that one day... *smirk*" Seriously though, my mind is totally revolving around Catching Fire lately.

In other news, Justin Bieber was late to a concert at the 02 arena in London last night. Now some fans and a ton of parents are angry and disappointed with him. To be honest, I don't see what the big deal is! If it was any other artist, the reaction would not be the same. And also, he has apologised for it and admitted that what happened was not acceptable. People need to move the fuck on, it's not the end of the world.

Anyway, NOW I'm going to sleep and hopefully I won't have to rewrite this a 3rd time! Bye...
