Catching Fire teaser trailer

So the Catching Fire teaser trailer premieres last night at the MTV Movie Awards. I couldn't watch until this morning because obviously the show wasn't on in the UK yesterday. But it did premiere here this evening and I watched the show. But yeah, I watched the trailer on YouTube before the show because I was desperate.

So in short, I 

fangirled. FANGIRLED HARD. In the trailer we first see Katniss (played by Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta (played by Josh Hutcherson) be announced to district 11, while on their victory tour, as victors of the 74th hunger games. President S

now and Plutarch are then on screen discussing Katniss and the "threat" they believe she poses, which is why she should be killed. Katniss, Peeta ad their mentor Haymitch (played by Woody Harrelson) are then shown havig a conversation. In it, Katniss is crying and Peeta asks what they should do about their situation. We then see some uprising in the districts with the burning of capital signs and people fighting peacekeepers. There's then a short clip of Katniss and her sister April talking which was really sweet but powerful. There's then a glimpse of the part where Gale (played by Liam Hemsworth) is being whipped by the peacekeepers and Katniss comes to save him. The peacekeepers reacts by pointing a gun at Katniss. We then hear a voiceover of President Snow during the end title where he says Katniss is a danger to the other victors as she makes them feel invincible.

It was a superb teaser trailer considering it was close to 3 minutes long. I can only imagine what the official theatrical trailer is going to be like! I really love the costumes in this movie. In the trailer you see a quick clip of Effie (played by Elizabeth Banks) walking with Katniss and Peeta into this mansion for their party for being victors. And in this quick clip Effie is wearing such an outrageous outfit which suits the character so well. All people from the Capitol dress like this but Effie is in a league of her own. Katniss was also dressed really great. She was dressed similar to a bird to represent the mockingjay she is, or at least symbolises for her people.

The only negative I would say about this trailer was that you don't see any of the former hunger games victors which are the new tributes for the 75th hunger games. But then again, this was just a teaser trailer and well probably see this in the first real trailer (whenever it ends up coming out). So for now, no Finnick clips! *insert sad face*

Anyway, today was also my first day back at college after Easter break. It was hard getting to sleep last night after being used to staying up until like 3am all throughout the break. I doubt I'm also going to get any sleep tonight because the fucking burglar alarm is going off next door. It's going off because the people that lived there moved out and so these people have been renovating it. But it accidentally won't of today and they didn't (or probably couldn't) turn it off. So it's just beeping away right now at 11:53pm.

Anyway my jaw hurts so going to try and sleep. It's been hurting real bad today. My mum made me cry as well because I asked her to ring the dentist as he said if its still bringing me problems to call up again and he'll refer me to a specialist. I don't know what was up with my mum but she didn't want to but anyway I finally persuaded her to do it tomorrow morning. I want to be there to make sure she does it. I'm in so much pain, it's unreal :(
