Half term

So I went back to college today. It would have been better but I literally had a terrible nights sleep... actually I wouldn't even call it sleep. I barely got any! Not sure why but I could feel myself slipping in and out of dreams all night therefore knew I was still awake during my half unconscious sleeping.

Anyway, my cough wasn't too bad today as I was focused on getting back into the college routine. But it's still tickling my throat which is super annoying. College assembly was pretty awkward as it was pretty silent and then you could just hear me in the back coughing away. I felt bad for those sitting around me...

Found out today that we break up for half term this Friday. Can't believe I didn't even know! For you Americans, it's basically just where we have like 1 or 2 weeks off school and college. All I know is our 'terms' are your 'semesters'. Anyway, I really wish it started next Friday as then I'd have more time off closer to my birthday. In the case of breaking up this week, we go back to college 2 days after my birthday. That's kind of sucky!

Not only because of my birthday, but it means The Oscars are on the day before we go back to college. As it is broadcast in America, then that means it will start quite late in the evening/night over here in the UK. And I REALLY want, no NEED, to watch them, but I'm contemplating whether I'd want to stay up all night and face a tiring day at college the day after. Decisions.

Speaking of awards shows, I managed to watch The Grammys tonight which I missed yesterday due to having to sleep as it was on so late. Really pleased with the winners, they totally deserved it. The music, songs and new artists we saw and heard in 2012 were definitely some of the best in a while. Johnny Depp was also a bonus to the show ;) He introduced Mumford And Sons performance. Oh and also just one random thing, I never really payed that much attention on them before but the lead singer in the band Fun. is extremely attractive. I don't know... am I the only one who thinks so? Ok.
