Happy birthday to ME

Saturday, 23rd February 2013. Guess what day that is? *as you all think "it's in the title, idiot"* IT'S MA BIRFDAY!

Well it's been quite a day! Like I said, after yesterday I didn't want to celebrate too hard, I'm hopefully doing that next weekend. But my 2 sisters were both here so I got to spend some time with them. My sister and brother in law stayed the night last night and staying again tonight. They are leaving on Monday.

Underneath all the excitement of the day, it's also been quite sad underneath because my family has been super busy so spent a lot of the day going out and doing errands. So I've felt quite lonely which was upsetting...

But never mind that! I got to watch 'The Perks Of Being A Wallflower' today starring Emma Watson, Logan Lerman and Ezra Miller. I got it for my birthday as it only just got released on DVD last Monday (I think- 99% sure). It was such a beautiful movie and the fact that Stephen Chbosky, the author of the book, directed the movie made it even more perfect. He managed to capture all the things that make up the ups and downs that the characters go through during high school and with their family, friends and romantic relationships.

I really need to get back on track with reading Silver Linings Playbook though. I haven't managed to get very far due to how busy of a week it's been. But I will most definitely return to reading this brilliant story.

I can't believe it's the Oscars tomorrow. It's on really late here in the UK as we are ahead of America. The problem is though, I can't actually watch the show. I didn't realize this because I figured that E! would be showing it after the red carpet special, but they're not. All they're showing is the red carpet special (from 10:30pm-1:30am) and then repeating it as soon as its finishes (from 1:30am-4:30am). I'll watch the first showing, of course. Then they're replaying it again ALL throughout the week. We can watch the actual awards ceremony on Sky Movies but unfortunately I don't have that on my TV. So I'm just praying they will livestream it on their YouTube channel (which I doubt they will but it's worth a shot). If not I'll just have to hunt for clips the next day on YouTube, etc. Really hope Jennifer Lawrence wins best actress for Silver Linings Playbook.

I actually spent the time today to change my iPhone settings to America for my App Store, and for any other settings I could find that involved my location, so that I could download ABC. ABC is an American channel and the Oscars will be shown on it tomorrow. So I thought it would be a good idea as then I could watch the show from there, but when I was testing the app I saw I couldn't watch any shows because a notification came up saying it detected I was not in America so couldn't view the content. It's times like these that I hate living in England. Well that and when it snows.

Speaking of snow, it's been snowing today. I really hope it doesn't settle. I don't think it will though as its really light and the weather on my iPhone says its not supposed to snow again throughout the week.

Anyway, I'm going to have a nice sleep now! My cough is definitely coming back and it sucks :(
